Job Description Job Summary: Seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide expert speech therapy services for primarily geriatric patients. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in a clinical setting, with a focus on post-operative and chronic conditions. Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately using Epic charting system. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Conduct therapy sessions during day shifts, including one weekend shift per month. Complete onsite modules during orientation and ensure compliance with travel regulations. Qualifications:
Hold CCC-SLP certification and a current New Jersey state license. Possess at least 2 years of clinical experience, including experience with geriatric populations. Demonstrate proficiency with MBS/Imaging equipment and evaluation techniques. Maintain current BLS certification. Have reliable transportation within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
