STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN Location: Naples, Florida Schedule: Full-Time | Day and Night Shifts Available MUST HAVE CSPDT OR CRCST Keep surgeries running smoothly by joining a team where precision and organization matter. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll manage, clean, and assemble surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring everything is ready for patient care. Take pride in your role supporting the OR and helping teams deliver safe, efficient procedures. QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED required
Completion of a Surgical Tech or Sterile Processing Tech program
CSPDT/CRCST certification REQUIRED
Have 1 to 2 years of experience in a surgical environment
Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills
Commitment to following safety protocols and departmental procedures

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, receive, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Assemble case carts accurately based on doctor's preference cards
Operate washer/decontaminator, sonic cleaner, compressed air, and dryer units properly
Disassemble, mechanically clean, and hand-wash instruments, including heat/fluid sensitive items
Sort instruments into specialty trays and verify counts using count sheets
Prepare utensils and package instruments safely, ensuring sterility
Understand and monitor sterilizers (Steam, Sterrad, Steris System 1) and validate sterilization parameters
Use biological indicators correctly and document quality control results
Maintain knowledge of physician preferences, supply locations, and surgical terminology
Support staff as preceptor, assist others, prepare end-of-shift reports, and identify ways to reduce waste
Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Perform other duties as assigned
