Compassionate & Attentive: You care deeply about animal comfort, safety, and cleanliness Reliable & Responsible: You show up on time, follow protocols, and take pride in your work Comfortable Working Independently: Able to manage tasks efficiently with minimal supervision Physically Capable: Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in a hands-on environment Organized & Detail-Oriented: You notice changes in animal behavior and maintain clean, orderly spaces Flexible: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Clear Communicator: Able to share observations with the medical team effectively What You'll Do As a Kennel Technician at Southern Hills Animal Hospital, you'll play a key role in daily operations by:
Providing daily care for boarding and hospitalized animals, including feeding, walking, and monitoring comfort Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kennel areas, cages, and equipment Observing pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or condition and reporting concerns to the team Assisting with light maintenance and stocking as needed Supporting the hospital team to ensure a calm, safe, and organized environment
