How you'll make an impact in this role
Ensure medication accuracy by meticulously refilling and maintaining automated dispensing systems to provide clinicians with the right tools at the point of care.
Optimize pharmacy operations through proactive inventory management and order preparation, ensuring essential supplies are always available for our patients.
Safeguard patient safety by expertly repackaging bulk medications and managing incoming supplies according to strict quality and storage standards.
Facilitate seamless communication between the pharmacy, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve inquiries and ensure a collaborative approach to treatment.
What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Kansas Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Pharmacy Tech OR Pharmacy Intern credentialed from the Kansas Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following:
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Equal employment opportunity employer
