Provide chairside support for doctors, including charting, placing fillings, setting up and cleaning operatories, and patient education. Perform expanded functions such as placing amalgam or composite fillings, adapting temporary crowns, removing sutures, and applying topical fluoride (state-permitted procedures only). Maintain accurate patient health history and treatment plan documentation in dental software. Assist in clinical procedures, ensuring a seamless and efficient patient care process. Stay up-to-date on state regulations and compliance to deliver safe and effective care.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Certification: EFDA certification or on-the-job training as required by state regulations. Experience: 1–5 years preferred; new graduates will be considered. Licensure: Radiography licensure meeting state requirements. Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, dental charting software, and digital x-rays, with the ability to learn new systems as needed. CPR Certification: Required for this role.
