Located in a charming Victorian building near the Connecticut River in central Connecticut, our practice offers a peaceful and cozy setting where we enjoy building relationships with both cats and their caregivers. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian position based in Bolton, CT. The Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care, including diagnostics, treatment plans, and surgeries for feline patients. Daily tasks include conducting wellness exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing procedures, and counseling pet owners on health and wellness. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-focused care and contributes to maintaining the practice's commitment to excellence. Qualifications Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a range of feline health conditions Skills in surgical procedures and preventative care for cats Strong communication skills to effectively educate cat owners on health and wellness Compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to create a calm environment for cats Ability to work collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionals Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and an active veterinary license in Connecticut Previous experience in feline-specific care is highly desirable Commitment to continued education and staying updated on best practices in veterinary medicine
