How you'll make an impact in this role Champion Patient Comfort: Support patients with daily living activities and personal care, ensuring they maintain their dignity and feel supported throughout their stay. Be the Eyes and Ears of the Unit: Monitor and communicate vital changes in a patient's physical or emotional state to the nursing team, serving as a critical link in the safety and recovery process. Streamline the Patient Journey: Facilitate smooth transitions during the admission and discharge process to ensure patients feel welcomed upon arrival and confident when returning home. Curate a Healing Environment: Maintain organized, hygienic patient rooms and ready-to-use medical equipment to provide a safe, professional space for high-quality clinical care. Document the Care Story: Record accurate patient data and care activities to ensure the broader medical team has the insights needed to make informed treatment decisions.
What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
