Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Provide patient care during emergency and elective angioplasty procedures. Support therapies including drug-eluting stent placement, electrophysiology procedures, and pacemaker implantation. Monitor patient condition, hemodynamics, and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures. Prepare patients before procedures and provide post-procedure recovery care. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective cardiac care. Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse (RN) program. Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility. Recent acute care experience. Current RN license in the state/district of practice. Current Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - Required Preferred Qualifications:
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) - Highly desired Distance Requirement:
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.
