Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols Ensure accurate patient identification and review imaging requisitions for completeness and accuracy Maintain patient safety standards, including proper positioning and use of support/restraint devices when appropriate Evaluate completed imaging studies for technical quality and proper anatomical orientation Document patient information and examination details accurately within the imaging system Support workflow efficiency by prioritizing urgent patient care needs Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with department operations and administrative duties as needed Participate in orientation and training of new staff members Promote a professional and collaborative work environment
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology ARRT Certification required Active Illinois Radiology License required CT Certification required Current BLS/CPR certification required Minimum of 2 years of Radiology experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies as needed Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and assist with patient positioning Strong communication and multitasking skills in a clinical environment
