Employ radiographic and CT imaging methods to deliver high-quality diagnostic images for medical evaluations Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to secure precise diagnoses Skillfully position patients and diligently calibrate equipment for optimal images Adhere to radiation safety protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff Keep thorough records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance checks Deliver compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process Promote a secure, organized, and efficient environment within the imaging department Qualifications and Certifications Required
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred Graduation from an accredited radiology educational program Necessary Certifications
ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment Essential Skills
Expertise in diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and team members Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly Detail-oriented with a deep sense of responsibility and accountability Comfortable with modern imaging technology, including PACS and RIS What Awaits You
