Prepare the core for finishing by removing core fins and any other imperfections Perform Baume test on all alcohol wash prior to utilizing wash. Perform flow coating and swabbing as per procedure Perform other duties as required. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to read and write High School or GED preferred Preference given for experience in previous core finishing Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses and maintenance. Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction of the core. Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. consistently Standing and bending for long periods of time. Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures (HOT/COLD). Able to work in a sand casting environment (dirty) Job Type: Full Time. Hourly, non-exempt.
