Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, the Clinical Assistant will provide competent, direct, and individualized care that includes, but is not limited to, collecting patient vital signs and samples and turning over exam rooms and clinical areas. Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe working area Provides front office tasks that ensure the patients are seen timely and appropriately. Support the team by checking in patients, directing visitors, making patient reminder calls, and answering the office phone. Checks out patients and provides patient summaries to patient
Job Qualifications:
CNA License Ability to work with patients and co-workers professionally and tactfully Able to work independently as well as part of a professional team. Ability to work with close attention to detail and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are required. Ability to comprehend and execute Medical Record Policies and Procedures. Six (6) months of experience in a medical facility is preferred. General office skills with previous office experience High school education or equivalent.
This position has been deemed a "Safety-Sensitive" position; therefore, Morton reserves the right to refuse to hire an applicant or may terminate an employee in a "Safety-Sensitive Position" who tests positive for medical marijuana even if he/she has a valid medical marijuana license.
