Setting the stage for surgical success by preparing and organizing the operating room. Upholding sterile environments and meticulously following infection control protocols. Effortlessly handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and their teams. Setting up and managing surgical equipment proactively through all stages of the procedures. Tracking supplies vigilantly to ensure everything needed is on hand for each operation. Collaborating closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and the surgical crew to facilitate optimal care. Maintaining precise counts and documentation during surgeries. Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program. High school diploma or equivalent is essential. Certifications Required:
Must hold a current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential. BLS certification is a must or a commitment to obtain it within 90 days of hire. Key Skills and Attributes:
