Responsibilities include delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services, designing functional treatment programs for effective return to community activities, and serving as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self. The role demands adherence to the organization's Mission Statement, Core Values, and Code of Conduct. ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address discharge barriers, including equipment trialing and family training. Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs. Complete medical record documentation accurately, including daily notes, goal writing, and discharge summaries. Participate in student programs and provide a positive learning environment. Engage in professional development and advocacy efforts, including community events. Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure. Follow performance improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing service quality. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureValid and current State Physical Therapist license required. Minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospital experience required. BLS Certification is required prior to the first shift. Schedule This position operates on a Day shift with a 5x8.0 schedule.
