Prepping and organizing the operating room to ensure optimal efficiency Upholding strict sterile practices to maintain a clean and safe environment Passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and assisting them as needed Managing surgical equipment before, during, and after each procedure Keeping meticulous track of supplies and ensuring full readiness for operations Collaborating with an experienced team of nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff Maintaining accurate surgical counts and thorough documentation throughout operations Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent required Certifications Required:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is mandatory BLS certification (or capacity to obtain within 90 days of hire) Essential Skills and Qualities:
