X-Ray Technologist Location: Hot Springs, SD Pay Rate: $55/hr to $60/hr Contract: 13 Weeks Schedule: 4x10s, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week with rotating weekends and call Experience: Minimum 1 year CT Technologist experience preferred Start Date: 06/29/2026 About the Role We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Hot Springs, SD. This role will perform routine and emergent diagnostic imaging using CT and fixed/portable X-ray while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and timely exam completion. Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency CT and X-ray imaging procedures. Adjust exposure settings and patient positioning for quality imaging. Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure. Process images in PACS for radiologist review. Complete exams according to radiologist protocols. Document, charge, and process exams in the EMR. Assist patients with contrast media for CT exams. Support equipment quality control, radiation safety, and patient safety. Provide professional service to patients, staff, and clinical teams. Requirements Current R.T.(R)(ARRT) certification required. Active state license required. Minimum 1 year CT Technologist experience preferred. Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, radiation physics, anatomy, and physiology. Experience with PACS and EMR documentation preferred. EPIC experience preferred. Must be available for rotating weekends, call, and holiday coverage.
