Craft Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs to devise individualized treatment strategies that guide them toward their functional aspirations Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily routines Engage in Collaborative Care: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide thorough and integrated treatment Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and their caregivers about therapy methods to facilitate continued progress outside the clinical setting Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor patient improvements and refine treatment plans to keep clients on the right path Education
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Encouraged engagement in continuing education and post-graduate certifications Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required Skills
