Performing detailed patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic conditions collaboratively or independently as per your credentials Guiding patients and families in areas of prevention, wellness, and effective disease management Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
Completion of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to attain within a 90-day period) What Makes You Stand Out
