Keeping precise surgical counts and maintaining thorough documentation. Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certifications Needed:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required. BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire). Essential Skills and Attributes:
Thorough understanding of surgical instrumentation and procedures across various specialties. Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, especially in high-pressure settings. Ability to prioritize tasks and respond swiftly to the needs of the surgical team. Organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness.
