Your Responsibilities
Conduct a broad spectrum of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step to alleviate any concerns Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to provide precise and high-quality diagnostic images Maintain imaging equipment and promptly report any technical issues Document procedures accurately and uphold patient records in the electronic medical system Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging methods and professional best practices Required Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred Necessary Certifications
Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred Essential Skills
