Create tailored treatment plans that address immediate objectives while considering long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on communication skills, language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Engage with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to outline cohesive care plans. Provide educational resources and guidance for patients and families to foster improvement outside of therapy sessions. Support inpatient efforts when needed, ensuring continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation journey. Stay aligned with state, federal, and institutional regulations through accurate documentation and reporting. Commit to ongoing professional development through educational opportunities and collaboration with peers. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Skills
