Assess individuals across pediatric, adult, and older adult segments using both established assessment tools and personal observation. Craft tailored therapy plans that encompass immediate objectives alongside long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing aspirations. Deliver focused speech therapy sessions that enhance language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Cooperate with an array of healthcare professionals including OT, PT, nurses, doctors, and family members to formulate cohesive treatment strategies. Educate both patients and families to facilitate progress beyond clinical environments. Occasionally provide inpatient speech therapy evaluations, ensuring a seamless continuum of care for every patient. Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with local, federal, and organizational policies. Engage in ongoing learning and professional development, actively participating in peer discussions and education programs. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days post-hire. Skills
