Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups using both established assessments and observational techniques. Create tailored treatment plans that cater to immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Implement personalized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to produce integrated care plans. Provide education for patients and families to enhance progress between therapy sessions. Support occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain a continuous care experience. Keep precise and timely documentation in compliance with all applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in ongoing education and peer collaboration to stay informed about the latest advancements in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified is a must. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment. Skills
