Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - 13-Week Contract Location: Wilson, NC Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: Day/Night shift available: 07:00 - 19:00 Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and providing support for both admissions and discharges. Critical thinking skills and EKG interpretation skills are necessary for maintaining high standards of patient care. Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patient conditions within the telemetry unit. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care. Manage patient admissions and discharges effectively. Educate patients and families on health management post-discharge.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Registered Nurse (RN) license. 1.5+ years of telemetry experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
