Conduct thorough evaluations across a spectrum of age groups, integrating standardized assessments and keen observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans addressing immediate needs and long-lasting communication or swallowing challenges. Deliver personalized speech therapy geared toward enhancing communication, language, fluency, and swallowing capabilities. Engage with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals for holistic care strategies, sharing insights with physical therapists, occupational therapists, caregivers, and family members. Provide education to patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported during and beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, maintaining seamless care throughout the recovery process. Document all clinical interactions accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to state and federal regulations as well as organizational protocols. Pursue continuing education and collaborative opportunities to stay abreast of new advancements in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those who are not ASHA-certified yet. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment. Skills

Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
