Utilize CT and radiographic techniques to acquire precise diagnostic images for thorough examinations by physicians Engage collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive diagnostic processes Expertly position patients and calibrate imaging equipment to enhance image quality Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to safeguard patients and the healthcare team Keep accurate records, including patient imaging logs and maintenance schedules for imaging equipment Offer empathetic patient care throughout the imaging procedure Enhance the efficiency and safety of the imaging environment by maintaining organization Educational Background
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; Bachelor's Degree is advantageous Degree from a nationally accredited radiology program is essential Essential Certifications
ARRT certification (in CT and/or Radiography) is required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of joining Valuable Skills
Strong proficiency in diagnostic imaging protocols and essential safety regulations Exceptional communication skills to foster rapport with patients and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Adeptness in a fast-paced setting, pivoting to meet dynamic demands Detail-oriented mindset coupled with a strong commitment to accountability Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging technologies What You Will Enjoy
