Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring the operating room is well-prepared and organized Uphold strict infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants smoothly Prepare and oversee the management of surgical equipment through every stage of procedures Monitor and manage surgical supplies to ensure readiness for operations Collaborate effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to provide seamless care Keep accurate surgical counts and documentation Education Requirements:
A degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory Certifications Required:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is essential BLS certification (or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment) Key Skills and Qualities:
