Job Summary: Join a dedicated clinical team providing compassionate healthcare and patient management in a dynamic practice setting. Your daily tasks will adapt to meet the evolving needs of the clinic, ensuring excellent patient care and support. Essential Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines. Respond promptly to patient calls, triaging effectively while offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education. Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately. Monitor patients for abnormal symptoms, communicate findings to physicians, and ensure thorough documentation in medical records. Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgical preparations, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings under supervision. Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate necessary patient testing and referrals, and communicate test results to patients. Ensure all patient care areas and equipment are well-stocked, clean, sterile, and organized according to protocols. Assist with patient education, ensuring understanding of treatment plans and medication usage. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed. Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the clinic's needs. Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.
This role offers a day shift schedule with a 40-hour workweek, serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest.
