Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions aimed at improving fluency, language, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to streamline patient care. Educate patients and their families to encourage continued progress during and after clinic visits. Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations to foster seamless care transitions. Ensure meticulous record-keeping in compliance with state, federal, and institutional regulations. Commit to ongoing professional development through continuous education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), especially if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment. Skills
