CNA Responsibilities As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. Key Duties Include:
Answer resident call lights and respond promptly to resident needs Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs) Serve meals, collect trays, and assist residents with feeding as needed Transport residents safely using wheelchairs and other mobility equipment Assist residents with walking, transfers, and mobility Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and prevent skin breakdown Measure and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other resident information Accurately complete resident charting and documentation Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents CNA QualificationsRequired:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in the State of Montana High school diploma or GED equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care Preferred:
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare settings Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care practices
