Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients using a blend of gold-standard assessments and keen observational techniques. Craft tailored treatment plans that balance immediate goals with broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions encompassing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing therapy. Work collaboratively with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish uniform care strategies. Educate patients and their families to empower progress beyond clinical sessions. Support occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Maintain precise documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in lifelong learning to stay at the forefront of advances in the field through ongoing education and peer collaboration. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized program. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still in progress. Certifications
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Skills
