Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Support providers with procedures, exams, and follow-up care Coordinate referrals, lab orders, and patient education Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Positions imaging equipment and adjusts controls to set exposure time and distance, according to specification of examination Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care

What We're Looking For
Completion of an approved accredited Medical Assistant program Current certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting is a plus Commitment to WakeMed's values of respect, integrity, and excellence
