Position Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding imaging team. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to perform a range of diagnostic procedures, collaborating harmoniously with fellow healthcare professionals to provide unparalleled patient care. Key Responsibilities
Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging Prioritize patient comfort and safety, carefully explaining each procedure with patience and compassion Work closely with radiologists and physicians to assure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images Maintain and operate imaging equipment with diligence, ensuring prompt reporting of any malfunctions Thoroughly document examinations and manage patient data within the electronic medical system Stay informed of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices Education Requirements
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program Certification Necessities
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred Essential Skills
Proven proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment Benefits Overview
