Position Summary The Columbus Organization is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a short-term, school-based ESY (Extended School Year) opportunity in Baltimore, MD. This is a part-time, 5-week assignment supporting students with physical therapy needs in an educational setting. This flexible summer assignment is ideal for therapists looking to earn supplemental income while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents. Enjoy a consistent Monday-Thursday schedule with Fridays off all summer. Key Responsibilities
Provide developmentally appropriate physical therapy assessments and services to students (ages 0-21) Develop and support IEP/IFSP goals and objectives based on student needs Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with student IEPs Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services Qualifications
Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license required Experience working with pediatric populations or in a school setting preferred Knowledge of IEP/IFSP processes and school-based therapy services Strong communication and collaboration skill
