CMS Imaging is currently accepting resumes for a professional Sales Associate (Associate Sales Representative) for one of our territories within the Southeast.
The Sales Associate (Associate Sales Representative) participates in a structured training program designed to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively sell medical imaging equipment, solutions, and services. During the initial training period, the Sales Associate will work closely with experienced Account Managers and cross-functional teams to learn CMS Imaging’s products, sales processes, and customer base. Upon successful completion of the training program, the Sales Associate will be assigned a defined territory within our Southeast geography and will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within that territory.

With Service Engineers through the southeast, CMS continues to grow and expand. Founded in 1987 in Charleston, SC as an independent service organization, CMS Imaging has expanded its product line to include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, and Advanced Fluoroscopic systems. Software solutions including PACS and Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA) are also available to enable customers to display, manage, and store imaging data. Primary Responsibilities
Complete structured onboarding and sales training program within designated timeframe
Learn CMS Imaging product portfolio, services, competitive positioning, and sales processes
Support Account Managers in customer meetings, proposals, and sales activities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects
Identify new business opportunities within assigned territory
Execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals
Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular sales activity reporting
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities A. Training & Development
Participate fully in CMS Imaging’s Associate Sales training program
Gain working knowledge of all imaging modalities, services, and solutions offered
Learn consultative sales techniques and customer engagement strategies
Shadow Account Managers during customer meetings, presentations, and site visits
Complete product, sales process, and compliance training as required
B. Sales Execution & Territory Development
Transition into an assigned territory upon completion of training
Develop and execute a territory growth plan
Prospect new customers including hospitals, imaging centers, and physician practices
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate imaging solutions
Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations in collaboration with internal teams
Manage sales opportunities through the full sales cycle
C. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
Serve as a trusted advisor for medical imaging solutions and services
Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Coordinate with Service, Operations, and Project Management teams to support customer needs
D. Internal Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate with Sales leadership, Service Operations, and Project Management teams
Maintain and update CRM with sales activities, pipeline, and forecasting
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions
Provide timely and accurate reporting on territory performance and opportunities

Requirements Education & Training
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field preferred
Formal sales training or participation in a structured sales program preferred Willingness to complete CMS Imaging training program required
Experience
0–3 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare, B2B, or technical sales
Internship or prior exposure to sales environments is a plus
Customer-facing experience preferred
Technical Requirements
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Ability to learn technical medical imaging products and solutions
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory
