Weimer Bearing is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse/Inside Sales Associate to join our team at our growing Desoto/Dallas, Texas location. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, takes pride in quality work, and values a safe, organized workplace. Our growing company produces and distributes high tech electro/mechanical systems to major manufacturing and maintenance companies in a variety of industries. Weimer Bearing & Transmission is a privately held, progressive, stable and successful company. Responsibilities
Shipping and receiving of products and materials Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders Light mechanical assembly Inventory counting, stocking, and cycle counts Local deliveries to customers as needed Maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness Assisting with special warehouse projects and other duties as assigned Inside Sales Duties - quoting, entering orders, expediting, processing returns Go through a comprehensive training program to learn our products & services Other inside sales related tasks Qualifications
1+ years warehouse experience Valid driver's license with a good driving record Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused Basic mechanical aptitude preferred Ability to lift and move materials safely throughout the workday The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of accuracy in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
