This role focuses on developing and nurturing referral relationships with insurance agents and agencies, property managers, commercial realtors, plumbers, and assigned industry verticals. This position is ideal for a high-energy sales professional who excels at outbound prospecting, relationship building, and creating consistent top-of-funnel opportunities in a relationship-driven industry./ph3Essential Job Functions/h3ulliLead Generation Referral Development/liulliIdentify, prospect, and develop referral relationships with: insurance agents and insurance agencies/liliProperty managers and facility managers/liliCommercial realtors and brokers/liliPlumbers and trade partners/liliAssigned targeted industry verticals/li/ulliExecute daily outbound activities including in-person visits, calls, emails, and networking/liliEstablish referral agreements and preferred-vendor relationships where applicable/liliGenerate consistent, qualified mitigation and restoration leads for operations and project teams/li/ulh3Territory Vertical Management/h3ulliManage an assigned territory and/or targeted industry verticals/liliResearch and prioritize high-potential referral accounts/liliBuild and maintain a structured cadence of touchpoints with referral sources/liliTrack prospecting activity, referrals, and engagement in CRM/li/ulh3Education Brand Representation/h3ulliEducate referral partners on company services including water, fire, mold, storm, and specialty restoration/liliCommunicate emergency response capabilities, service differentiators, and response times/liliRepresent the company professionally in the marketplace/liliParticipate in trade shows, association meetings, and industry events/li/ulh3Internal Collaboration/h3ulliWork closely with sales leadership, marketing, and operations to align lead generation efforts/liliProvide feedback on lead quality, referral trends, and market opportunities/liliSupport emergency response initiatives as needed, including occasional after-hours availability/li/ulh3Performance Metrics (KPIs)/h3ulliNumber of new referral relationships established/liliQualified leads generated per month/liliActivity volume (visits, calls, emails, events)/liliReferral source engagement and retention/liliCRM accuracy and reporting compliance/li/ulh3Qualifications Experience/h3h4Required Qualifications/h4ulli2+ years of B2B sales, lead generation, or business development experience/liliProven ability to prospect and develop referral-based relationships/liliStrong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills/liliSelf-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills/liliValid drivers license and ability to travel within assigned territory/li/ulh4Preferred Qualifications/h4ulliExperience in mitigation, restoration, construction, insurance, or property services/liliFamiliarity with referral-based sales models/liliCRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)/liliExperience working with insurance professionals or property management firms/li/ulh4Core Competencies/h4ulliOutbound prospecting and lead generation/liliRelationship-driven sales/liliStrategic account targeting/liliConsistent follow-up and pipeline discipline/liliProfessional persistence/liliMarket and competitor awareness/li/ulh3Compensation Benefits/h3ulliBase salary plus performance-based incentive or commission/liliClear lead-generation performance incentives/liliHealth, dental, and vision insurance/liliPaid time off and holidays/liliTraining on restoration services and industry best practices/liliCareer growth opportunities within sales and business development/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3pThis position operates in a combination of field-based sales environments and office settings. The role requires frequent travel averaging approximately 65% within the assigned territory to meet with referral partners and attend networking events.
