Order Picker Distribution Center

As an order picker distribution center at a rapidly growing supermarket chain, you will work 32 to 40 hours per week in flexible shifts and earn up to €22.07 per hour with bonuses. You start with an attractive base salary including ADV and have the prospect of a permanent contract after six months. In this role, you gain valuable work experience and have the chance to grow within an organization that continues to expand.

About the function

As an order picker, you work in the distribution center of a supermarket, where it is 5 degrees. Using a headset and a collection truck with three carts, you gather orders via a voice-picking system. Once completed, the system guides you to the final station, and you label the carts with your name. You work in shifts from 06:00–14:30 (Monday to Saturday), 14:30–23:00 (Monday to Sunday), or on Sundays from 05:00–13:30. Each shift has a target. Initially, you may not reach it, but together, you will work towards it. Products can weigh up to 20 kg, so physical fitness is important.

Your starting salary as an order picker is €14.71 per hour. After 6 months, you will receive a permanent contract with the supermarket, and your hourly wage will automatically increase to €15.50. You always receive an additional 8% ADV on top of your wage, bringing your starting salary to €15.89 per hour. Furthermore, you can receive shift bonuses (see below, excl. ADV).

• Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 20:00 = 100% = €14.71
• Monday to Friday, 20:00 to 22:00 = 125% = €18.39
• Monday to Friday, 22:00 to 06:00 = 150% = €22.07
• Saturday, 06:00 to 18:00 = 130% = €19.12
• Saturday, 18:00 to 06:00 = 150% = €22.07
• Sunday, 00:00 to 24:00 = 150% = €22.07
• Holiday, 00:00 to 24:00 = 200% = €29.42

What we need
