Data Analytics, part of the division of Innovation & Performance Management, is responsible for fostering a data-informed NYC Parks by leveraging data to produce insights that cross divisional perspectives, and to create a culture of data use throughout the agency. Major responsibilities include: Design and execute advanced statistical and geospatial analyses to identify trends, measure performance, and answer complex operational questions. Translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into well-defined analytical frameworks. Develop, validate, and maintain analytical models to support planning, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making. Acquire, clean, integrate, and manage complex datasets from multiple sources. Build, maintain, and scale automated data pipelines and workflows. Manage and improve data infrastructure and production workflows. Design and develop dashboards, internal reports, and public-facing data products. Lead and contribute to Open Data initiatives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues. Communicate complex analytical methodologies and results clearly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data needs and implement scalable solutions. Work location: Arsenal, Manhattan
