Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer for their Charlotte, NC location. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript Write and execute simple to medium SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and develop automation solutions. Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and provide solutions. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability. Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and tools. Requirements:
Candidate with a strong background in test automation development, with proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript (Mandatory), and a solid understanding of SQL. This role requires critical thinking and analytical skills to develop innovative automation solutions for our enterprise tech stacks. Note: Candidates should be familiar with using GitHub Copilot in VS Code, as well as with Prompt and Context Engineering, and working with different AI modes such as plan, agent, and ask. Having working knowledge in using Codex, Claude AI tools to enhance code. 5-7 years of experience in test automation development role using Playwright and typescript. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Playwright with Typescript. Very strong in automation libraries Strong in API and SQL Good to have prompt engg knowledge Having working knowledge in using Codex, Claude AI tools to enhance code. 6+ Years of Experience Skills:
