Site Manager Steel Erection Dublin City Centre New Hotel Development, Capel Street Start Date: July 2026 Duration: 6 Months (with potential extension) Rate: DOE (Depending on Experience) The Opportunity We are working with a specialist steel contractor on a new hotel development in Capel Street and are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in structural steel / steel frame erection. This is a key role on a high-profile city centre project, where youll take full ownership of steel erection activities and play a crucial part in delivering the programme safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage all on-site steel erection works Oversee crane operations, lifting plans, and execution Lead erection sequencing and coordination Manage steel crews, subcontractors, and site logistics Ensure full compliance with health & safety, RAMS, and method statements Liaise closely with client, project management, and engineering teams Drive progress and ensure delivery in line with programme targets Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on structural steel / steel frame projects Strong knowledge of lifting operations and erection sequencing Experience managing busy, constrained city centre sites Relevant certifications: Safe Pass SMSTS / CSCS (or equivalent) Available for a July 2026 start
