About the Role
As a Middle School Math Teacher at Merryhill School, you will guide students as they deepen their mathematical understanding, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop the confidence needed to approach complex concepts. Our middle school program emphasizes critical thinking, inquiry, and academic curiosity. You will also:

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned math lessons
• Promote positive social and emotional development in students
• Assess and evaluate student progress using a variety of methods
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and growth
• Maintain a structured, organized, and inspiring classroom environment
• Integrate technology to enhance instruction and student engagement
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in education, mathematics, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Teaching certification in math or a related subject preferred
• Prior teaching experience, especially at the middle school level, preferred
• Strong communication, instructional, and classroom management skills
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks
• A passion for teaching and supporting student development
