NTT DATA seeks an experienced Application Services Specialty Seller to expand our presence in the North American market. The role focuses on driving the growth of Custom Application offerings, leveraging industry expertise to consultatively manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing large deals, and building lasting client relationships. Job Responsibilities
Provide technical sales expertise for the development and implementation of complex digital products, applications, and solutions. Lead sales strategy, solution development, and digital transformation initiatives. Leverage deep industry knowledge to build relationships, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored solutions that drive revenue and customer success. Engage with prospects and existing clients through consultative selling techniques, uncovering pain points and guiding them to optimal solutions aligning with their objectives. Collaborate with solution teams and practice experts to develop customized solutions addressing client-specific challenges. Define client value and relevance of solution using industry‑relevant KPIs. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities to provide strategic guidance. Build and sustain lasting relationships with clients and partners, anticipating their needs. Assist in assessing potential application of digital products to meet client needs and prepare detailed specifications for development and implementation. Support NTT DATA’s client and enterprise product sales efforts through consultative activities. Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience in consulting or IT services industry sales. Minimum of 8 years of experience negotiating, shaping, and closing large professional services deals. Minimum of 5 years of experience selling Custom Application Development, Application Architecture, and Modernization services/solutions. Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). Proven experience leading large, complex, strategic sales opportunities exceeding $5M. Ability to engage and build relationships with senior leadership at Fortune 500 organizations. Excellent leadership capabilities, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, professionalism, and attention to detail. Broad business experience driving deal shaping and origination. Ability to interact with senior leadership at clients and NTT DATA. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Benefits
