Execute deliverable requirements under the direction of a technical lead, collaborating with business partners who serve the analytic client. Independently produce analysis (basic data analysis, statistical tests, statistical modeling) or analytics dashboards using technologies such as Excel, Tableau, R, Python, and PowerBI. Write programs in languages such as R, SQL, SPSS, or SAS to develop data sets needed to support deliverables. Produce written reports for internal stakeholders summarizing analytic deliverables, including methods, interpretations, and business implications. Provide ad‑hoc analytic advisory support to internal clients (e.g., sales, account management, advisory services, product management, consulting), answering data and methodology questions and interpreting results. Stay abreast of contemporary analytics, including big‑data technologies (cloud services, Hadoop, OLAP tools), analytic technologies (R, Python, PowerBI, Tableau), and statistical methods such as data‑mining. Monitor healthcare industry issues affecting Press Ganey clients (e.g., VBP, HCAHPS, Population Health). Prototype scalable, novel analytic solutions addressing important business questions, both independently and in collaboration with partners such as Strategy, Development, Product Management, and CRA. Prototype novel data sets that integrate existing Press Ganey or external data for analytic solutions. Ensure accuracy and quality of all deliverables. Exhibit interpersonal skills that foster collaborative working relationships. Document all work performed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative discipline. 1–3 years of experience in a data‑analytic intensive role. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with SQL, SAS, R, STATA, or another high‑level data programming language. Basic to intermediate proficiency with Python, PHP, Perl, VB, JavaScript, C++, or another programming language. Formal training or extensive applied experience with advanced statistical methods such as regression‑type modeling and data‑mining methods (e.g., classification trees). Proficiency with data visualization tools. 1–3 years of experience developing data that merges relational tables, either within a relational database or in big‑data environments (e.g., SQL Server, Hadoop). 1–3 years of real‑world data and statistical analysis experience. 1–3 years of project management experience, including demonstrated success with cross‑functional collaboration. 1–3 years of implementing novel analytics with minimal supervision. Expected base salary ranges from $70,000 to $92,000. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications.
