We are seeking a dedicated IT audit professional to join our team in a short-term contract capacity (~320 hours). Credentials for performing compliance audits: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Most recognized certification for IT auditors. Focuses on auditing, control, and assurance of information systems. Highly relevant for compliance, risk, and security assessments in government. Government / Compliance-Specific Knowledge While not formal credentials, it’s also valuable to have training or certifications in: Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS / Yellow Book) COSO Internal Control Framework NIST Standards (e.g., NIST SP 800 series, Cybersecurity Framework) Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
or
FedRAMP
(for federal IT audits) COBIT
Framework (ISACA) – for IT governance and control assessment. Skills Required: Excellent technical skills across a broad range of accounting and auditing issues. Top-notch professionalism both with staff and with clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software. CPA License a plus. Responsibilities: Utilizing your technical knowledge and skills to submit reviewed work to partners with the expectation that minimal or no changes will be required. Supporting a collaborative and team-oriented environment. Effectively communicating all aspects of work performed to clients, partners, managers, and staff. Adhering to and communicating firm policies and procedures. Performing other job-related duties as required
