We are currently hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant to work at our West Chester, PA office. Traveling is required to our West Grove, Kennett Square and Downingtown, PA offices as well./ppPlease note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliWork with an assigned physician daily/liliEscort patients to the exam room/liliRecord medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs/liliPerform stress testing and EKGs/liliFollow up on lab results/liliAnswer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary/liliAssist with appointment scheduling./liliReview and prepare the next days assignments/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliMust be a certified or registered Medical Assistant/liliBLS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)/liliMust have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant/liliFamiliarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus/liliMust have the ability to multitask/liliComputer knowledge is a must/liliExperience with an EMR system is a plus/liliMust be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing/li/ulpCardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holiday time./pp*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date.
