As our customer base continues to grow, we are seeking an EPOS Technician to join our team in Newtownards.
*The Opportunity*
This is an excellent opportunity for either:
* An experienced EPOS Technician or Engineer looking for their next challenge.
* A hospitality professional with strong hands-on EPOS experience who is looking to move away from shift work and into a structured Monday-Friday technical support role.

*The Role*
This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where no two days are the same.
You'll work with hospitality and retail businesses across Northern Ireland, helping them get the most from their EPOS systems. From setting up menus, table plans and user permissions to troubleshooting issues, installing equipment and training customers, you'll play a key role in keeping their businesses running smoothly.
You'll split your time between remote support, onsite customer visits and system installations, working closely with customers to provide practical solutions and exceptional service.
*What You'll Be Doing*
* Installing, configuring and supporting EPOS systems and associated hardware.
* Setting up menus, table plans, promotions, pricing updates and till layouts.
* Providing technical support via phone, remote access and onsite visits.
* Troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues.
* Training customers and helping them get the most from their systems.
* Building strong relationships with customers through outstanding service.
* Working with colleagues to deliver installations, upgrades and system improvements.
* Maintaining accurate records of support activity and completed work.
*What We're Looking For*
We would particularly welcome applications from:
* EPOS Engineers or Technicians with previous EPOS experience.
* Hospitality Managers, Assistant Managers or Supervisors with strong EPOS knowledge.
* Individuals who enjoy solving problems, supporting customers and working with technology.
*Essential Criteria*
* Experience supporting, installing or configuring EPOS systems.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* A practical and hands-on approach to problem solving.
* Good understanding of hospitality or retail environments.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Positive attitude with a customer-focused mindset.
*Desirable Criteria*
* Previous experience working with ICR Touch or other leading EPOS platforms.
* Experience configuring menus, table plans, promotions or till layouts.
* Experience within hospitality, retail or food service environments.
* Experience working within a helpdesk, technical support or field service environment.
* Knowledge of networking, routers, firewalls and TCP/IP.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
