Locum Gastroenterologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Falmouth, VA. VA license preferred.
Outpatient shift from 7:30am - 5:00pm M-F.
No Call.
Practice Settings: Outpatient, Telehealth.
Preferred Specialty Skills: Upper GI endoscopy, with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices, ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic
With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Esophageal manometry interpretation, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Flexible, Rigid, Colonoscopy, with biopsy
with excision of polyp, Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), Liver biopsy, Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube.
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
Fellowship Required.
Licensed in VA only.
EMR: Epic.
Credentialing: 90 days.
$1,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
