Job Title: Foundry Concierge Lead
Reports to (title): Manager of Golf Custom Fitting
Job Summary:
As the first point of contact in Mizuno's state-of-the-art fitting environment, the Foundry Concierge Lead
ensures seamless, professional, and welcoming customer experience. This role builds foundational skills
in customer service, product knowledge, and operations, and could lead to a future role in advanced
fitting and field-based roles.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the appointment scheduler with 100% accuracy and efficiency.
Confirm fitting details with customers prior to appointments, explaining processes and
highlighting available services.
Welcome and check in customers upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
Oversee product check-in and inventory management for golf equipment.
Process transactions using the POS system for purchases, services, and product sales.
Respond to phone inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and
support.
Coordinate customer flow and assist the Lead Fitter to ensure seamless handoffs before and
after fittings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment in line with brand
standards.
Stay current on facility services, product offerings, promotions, and policies.
Develop expertise in the golf fitting process with the goal of transitioning into a fitter role;
actively shadow and assist the Lead Fitter.
Troubleshoot minor customer issues or escalate to management when necessary.
Promote and sell Mizuno fitting packages to enhance customer experience and revenue.
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create and execute promotional content for The
Mizuno Foundry, driving traffic and increasing inventory turnover.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to influence without
authority, gain buy-in, and drive consensus across teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), JD Edwards, and reporting tools; skilled in
data analysis and operational reporting.
Solid understanding of key business drivers, including profitability, gross margins, inventory
turns, material costs, and factory lead times.

Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and
quality standards.
Delivered presentations and conducted public speaking engagements for internal teams and
customer groups.
Effectively managed budgets within established guidelines, ensuring cost control and
resource optimization.
Golf experience at collegiate level or equivalent industry expertise preferred.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
At least two years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
