We’re growing our team and looking for a driven inside sales representative ready to take the next step in their career. $70,400 - $90,000 at plan earnings
Responsibilities:
Update customer database regularly to provide the most up-to-date client information to the sales team Funnel new qualified leads into the sales pipeline by following up with each prospect via email, phone calls or other forms of communication Work within your specific geography to find new business opportunities Qualify incoming leads so appointments are arranged as fast as possible to provide an excellent customer service experience Report on key performance and sales metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure sales goals are achieved Support clients’ progress toward their financial goals through strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets, and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives Consider clients’ life stage, professional circumstances, and changing financial needs when developing tailored financial plans to suit their needs Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor
What you'll do: Proactively build and maintain strong client relationships through networking, referrals, and outreach Meet with clients to gather and analyze financial information, goals, and risk tolerance Design personalized strategies for retirement planning, education funding, wealth protection, and estate planning Present and recommend a broad range of financial solutions, including life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and other investment options Guide clients through implementation and conduct ongoing reviews to ensure strategies stay aligned with their evolving goals Partner with fellow New York Life professionals to deliver comprehensive, holistic financial solutions
Qualifications:
Great time management, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to travel by car 2+ years of experience in sales or a similar role Understand the sales process and how to enter information into client databases Good interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine client-first mindset Business-minded spirit with a strong drive for achievement, growth, and independence Strategic thinker with sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities Sales, customer service, or financial services experience is a plus — but not required Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field preferred (not mandatory) Bilingual abilities are highly valued and a strong advantage
